About the Opportunity
We have an exciting finance role within the International business unit which has achieved strong growth in the last few years by exporting to over 30 countries. Based in Scoresby under a fixed term contract, and reporting to the Finance & Controlling Manager – International, the role of Commercial Accountant will manage Month End Accounting processes, partner the International Management team and provide decision support to drive growth and profitability.
This role will be a crucial link between the International business unit and cross functional teams including Supply Chain, Industrial, Corporate Finance and will be actively involved in process improvements and cost saving initiatives.
- Effective management of trade spend (promotions & discounts)
- Management of Month End Accounting processes
- Management reporting & analysis
- Financial modelling & commercial decision support
- Preparation of budgets
- 4+ years commercial experience in FMCG/manufacturing or similar industry
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance or related field
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards
- Advanced Excel
- Exposure to ERP & reporting systems – SAP BI preferable
- Data extraction, modelling & ability to apply across the entire P&L
