With knowledge and experience we encourage you to make a difference!Our OpportunityWe are seeking expressions of interest for a suitably qualified and experienced Laboratory Technician who is highly motivated and possesses a strong focus on quality and safety, to join our laboratory team on a casual basis.Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be required to:Undertake chemical and bacteriological analyses of in-line and finished product and raw materials.Ensure prompt and accurate test results are communicated to internal and external customers, both in writing and verbally.Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at all times.Undertake other duties as required.Ideally, you will hold a qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or similar and experience in a Laboratory/testing supporting a manufacturing operation would be highly regarded. Any experience or knowledge of HACCP and SAP would be an added bonus.You will need a proactive and positive attitude and will take pride and commitment in delivery high quality work within a deadline conscious environment.You will need to have flexibility to work on an on call basis – night shift and weekends included.
