Parmalat is experiencing strong growth and has achieved this through clear direction and dedicated employees.About the OpportunityLocated at Lidcombe, this position will appeal to a highly motivated, experienced Automation Engineer to bring drive and capability to the business.This role reports to the site Senior Project Engineer and will oversee provision of electrical automation control systems on plant, equipment and throughout projects at the Lidcombe manufacturing site. Key aspects of this role involve:Maintaining Electrical Automation Control Systems togetherMaintenance of backups of all PLC and Scada programs and associated documentationDesign and implementation of process control systems across projectsPLC Programming using Allen Bradley SLC/ControlLogix processesCoordination of contractors for project executionMaintaining and continuously improving the site Citect SCADA system.What we are seekingIt is essential that you have programming experience across  Citect SCADA, Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000 and Schneider Electric Unity Pro or similar while our desirable skill sets include:Concept PLC programming experienceAllen Bradley RSView ME programming experienceC-More HMI Programming Software experienceAutoCAD or similar CAD experienceExperience fault finding and managing industrial Ethernet networksExperience with common and legacy industrial fieldbus protocols e.g. EthernetIP, ModbusTCP/IP, ModbusPlusExperience with ASi fieldbus equipment.Experience with ProSoft fieldbus communication adapters for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLC'sExperience fault finding and programming ABB industrial robotsAn understanding of virtualised operating systems (Virtual Machines)A good understanding of Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012R2The ability to fault find, maintain and improve a complex factory comprising of modern and legacy industrial automation hardware and software from a variety of different automation vendors is the key to success in this position!What is on offerParmalat is the part of the world’s largest dairy manufacturing business operating on a global front.
